The Small Press Book Fair is a regional, one day event brings together booksellers, authors, bookmakers, zinesters, small presses, artists, poets, and other cultural workers (and enthusiasts), where they can share ideas, showcase their art, and more. Poetry readings, performances, discussions, and related lectures can also be found at this Small Press Book Fair.

The Allentown Art Festival attracts tens of thousands of patrons, who get to enjoy the arts and crafts by over 400 juried exhibitors, the charm and uniqueness of the Allentown area in Buffalo and more. This annual event began as a small art show in 1958, and now has earned an important place in Buffalo's cultural and social life. Prize awards for the exhibitors submitting work for formal judging have grown to $16,000 annually, and official crowd estimates have grown to over 400,000.

About 40 minutes outside of Buffalo, you'll find 'Darien Lake Theme Park Resort'. Previously owned by Six Flags, the Darien Lake Theme Park Resort includes a huge campground and the Darien Lake Hotel. It has many roller coasters including New York State's largest wooden roller coaster, The Predator, and some that travel up to 73mph. They also have many water attractions including water slides, wave pools, and water playgrounds. Flat rides include bumper cars, ferris wheels, carousel and more. The childrens rides include a mini ferris wheel, mini jets, mini tea cups, mini swings, a mini train and more. The Darien Lake Theme Park Resort has something for everyone!
